Authentic leadership has become a buzzword. And whenever that happens, the actual meaning gets diluted until it means almost nothing.
This session is designed to unpack the term properly.
We start with an uncomfortable question: is authenticity always a good thing? Think about Bin Laden, Angela Merkel, Elon Musk, Indra Nooyi. You could argue they are all authentic. That should make you pause.
Being true to yourself is not the same as being a good leader. Authentic leadership goes further. It requires self-awareness, transparency, and balanced decision-making that holds both business targets and human needs in the same frame.
We will cover what authentic leadership actually means and why the buzzword version falls short, the four elements that separate it from plain authenticity, and how to create clarity and anchor your people in values when the world is pulling in every direction.
