Have you ever walked away from an uncomfortable moment at work – a comment that stung, a situation that felt wrong – and told yourself you were fine, that you’d moved on? What if you hadn’t moved on at all, but simply sent it somewhere deeper, where it now quietly shapes every presentation you hesitate to give, every promotion you don’t apply for, every time you blame yourself instead of the situation?

In this talk, drawing from narrative therapy, we will explore the invisible roles we step into when we face difficult moments at work (victim, frozen, defeated) and how to recognise which one we are in, so we can move toward the one role that actually changes things. This is not a talk about being fearless. It is about being honest with yourself first, so you can finally act.
